SEASON ENDING TOP 10/ AWARD WINNING CANIDIDATES….

Today is the start of the SHORE CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT.  So with that I will give you my SEASON ENDING TOP 10. I will also give you my regular season award candidates leaders. Everyone needs to be very, very clear. While the regular season awards final candidates are fun…THEY ARE NOT THE SEASON ENDING AWARDS. The SCT has way more weight that the reason season in determining the winners. I do not count the state tourney in my year ending awards… I will say this, it never surprises me why some kids continue to grow and had great season. While others do not…you simply just need to look at what kids did in the off season and fall.

REGULAR SEASON ENDING TOP 10

1. SJV- this is not worth much of a debate. Monster Schedule and beat just about everyone.
2. MANASQUAN– They have been great from start to finish
3. ST ROSE– The weak state schedule and lost to Manasquan puts them here
4. RBC– Lost to Wall and this is way they land her despite win over Manasquan.
5. RUMSON- The body of work has been more than solid. Lost to Manchester but beat Franklin
6. DONOVAN CATHOLIC– Beat Manchester and finished season on 17 win streak
7. MANCHESTER– Reynolds injury prevented a Top 3 finish
8. TRN- They seemed to have very interest in non conference competition.
9. JACKSON MEMORIAL– Knocked off TRN
10. COLTS NECK– Foltz and Volpe has monster seasons
