Week 4 Top 10… SHAKE UPS🏀🤫

This weeks Top 10 saw some movement at the Top. But there is a wide gap between the Top 4 teams and the rest of the Top 10. This is the most solid Top 10 to date. Tom River North drops out because Neptune is gaining steam. Jackson Memorial lack of a quality win keeps them out. Long Branch is a major surprise and could work their way into the Top 10 with one big win.

SJV– They have the most impressive win on the season. They knocked off #12 in the country Riverdale baptist. Madison St. Rose was named MVP in the victory. She has been one of the best two way players in the state. SJV has been a total team effort to date.

RBC- They own the best wins of the season. They not only beat National powerhouse Roland Park, state #1 St.Rose and #13 RFH. They completely dominated all three in which the games were never competitive. Ally Carman has been a matchup nightmare.

St. ROSE– They played a schedule from hell. It cost them in a big way. After playing some of the best basketball they have played all year in Florida. They played the price for it. Losing to RBC, one day after returning and then lost to Sidwell Friends two days later. St Rose played 5 games in 7 days.

MANCHESTER– They played they first competitive game last weekend and showed flashes in losing to nationally ranked St. Frances of MD. Destiny Adams, Kermari Reynolds are leading the way. Tweety Hayes Jones outside shooting nay be the key to this teams future.

RFH- they have a Top 20 wins over Gil Bernard and Manasquan . They ran into buzz saw vs RBC and was dominated. But never stopped competing. They get St. Rose this Friday. Seniors Paige Slaven and Lucy Adams have exceeded all expectations.

RBR– They do not have a quality win this season. They will get a chance vs. #1 SJV FRIDAY. Chole Teter and Taylor Crystian have delivered as expected. Amelia Mendollar has been a pleasant surprise with her three point shooting. Soccer player turned basketball star, Caitlin Decker has been nothing short of spectacular

MANASQUAN– They had a heartbreaking home lost to RFH. But won a tough battle vs talented Holmdel. Georgia Heine is coming into her home as she was sensational in the win. Mary Donnely returns next week. Manasquan has been winning the games they have been expected to win. when Donnely returns expectations will grow.

MARLBORO– They clearly miss some pieces from a year ago. But bounced back nicely after disappointing losses to Top 20 teams, RBR and Manasquan. Jess Riepe has been on an All Shore type of roll all season. Layups and shooting has been an issue.

Colts Neck- They lost a barn burner to RBR. Camryn Foltz is making a statement as the best player in the Shore Conference. This is a team, a basket or two way from a Top 20 team, an almost unbelievable thought at the start of the season.

NEPTUNE– They return to Top 10. Macy Brackett has been a force this year. Neptune’s lone loss to #9 Colts Necks does not seem as shocking as it did 3 weeks ago.
