There is nothing coaches appreciate more than players who play hard and have a competive nature. But when that players is talented, athletic and a emerging sponge. It’s makes that players future unlimited as to what they may accomplish. LEAH CROSBY is that type of player and this week at NBS, she showed that she could one day be one of the best in the state of New Jersey.

Let me give you a scouting report on Leah Crosby. She is high level athlete with excellent positional size, length and strength for the next level. She is a highly versatile physical defender with a insane feel for the game. Her ability to raise the level of teammates with simple plays are eye popping at times because she makes it look so easy. Her ability to react and make reads and passes off the dribble are deadly stuff. There may be some who question her jumper. That’s because they are clearly not playing attention. LEAH CROSBY’S mid range game is not elite, it’s off the charts. That’s because she turns getting to her spots a art form. LEAH CROSBY is emerging into a big time legit combo guard. Why? Because of the maturity in her work ethic is the stuff dreams are made of… this not a player, whose inner circle are all bullshitting and claiming a player is a true combo to increase there recruiting profile. But yet the player is lacking in all the tool sets. Leah Crosby doesn’t have manufacture nonsense. That’s because she has a strong appetite and desire to excel and work hard. Her trainer Andre DABNEY actually can develop and teach. The video don’t lie folks. Together they have a no nonsense approach in her training. These are all the things about LEAH CROSBY that shocked me at NBS this weekend. All the things you never know about a kid until you are in the gym with them over a period of time. In this case a full week. Leah showed everyone all the extras, I certainly did not know about..
I KNEW A FEW THING ABOUT LEAH BEFORE NBS CAMP
Now coaches do your homework, because this kid has developed that jump shot… she has put the work in …this kid has earned her PHD
PASSIONATE
HUNGRY

Leah Crosby was not a total stranger to me before NBS CAMP. When I arrived at camp I was surprised to see her. I knew she was a D1 player long before she arrived at camp. That’s because I knew she was nightmare matchup for guards of any size. I knew all about her ability to post up on the box. I knew her foot work are magical. Once she is in the post it’s a wrap. It’s going to be two points or two free throws. That’s if she doesn’t get the and one call or a kick out for three. That’s because her decision making is simply the biggest strength of her game. Her IQ at times is too big for the game and those she plays with due to her maturity. She is playing chess while others are playing checkers.
I knew LEAH CROSBY had developed her jumper with her trainer Andre long before this spring. That’s because I had watched from a distrace, while you’ll we all sleeping. I watched her post a double vs the #3 team in the state EWING. Then almost backup it with another one vs. Top 5 RBC with all there P5 recruits with offers. This is not hype, these are facts! You see I knew all about LEAH’S, competive nature long before she ripped apart one of the highest recruited forwards in New Jersey this week at NBS and chased her out the gym. I knew Leah Crosby was a hell of a player long before NBS camp. What I didn’t know was how she was getting better so quickly and seems to be EVOLVING as a player daily.
THE TRUTH
I admit I love tough hard nose players. But I prefer them with talent who play with a edge but never out of control. I like players who play the game. Players who don’t pout or make excuses. I like players who show up and go to work. I like players who are begging to be challenged and want you squeeze their talent until they beg for mercy. Leah, didn’t know I knew she got hurt the 3rd day at NBS. Not once did she show up late after, take a day off or tell me she was hurt. See folks that’s grown ass women shit, that starts in the home.

I was asked by a coach this week. What level is LEAH CROSBY? I responded with this… does she check the work ethic box✔️? Does she check the competive nature box✔️? Does she check the athletic box✔️? Does she check the coachable box✔️? Does she check the all important takent box✔️? Is her trainer real or can you see the development box✔️? Finally does she check the most important box of all, she is improving daily like she did at camp each day✔️? The answer to all the questions is yes. There is no doubt Leah Crosby is going to get high major recruitment. My question is what’s the ceiling? Can she play at the highest level of college basketball. I’m not talking about being on the team. I’m talking about making a impact. For now I’m going to keep that answer to myself. But I did tell LEAH CROSBY something last night….
YOU ARE A SPECIAL TALENT and whatever you want to do you can….
