WEEKLY (#2)TOP 10/ AWARDS

There is a new team in the Top 20 and we have some slight movement at the Top.

ST .JOHN VIANNEY- They have a smooth easy week. There healthy and rolling right now. It’s been easy street for SJV to this point.

ST. ROSE- The most impressive team to take. They made it look easy from start to finish against Manasquan. Maggie Cavanaugh is looking more and more like a 1St Team All Shore player. They are right now the best defensive team in the Shore and maybe the state.

RED BANK CATHOLIC– The freshman have been the story. But there seniors have been good soldiers.  Joe Montano has done a masterful job in putting his rotation together. Emma Carman showed the seniors can score too with 17 points. Addy Nemcheck is looking like the early favorite for Freshman of the year. It was another easy week for the Casey’s who seem to have a date with Manasquan in the WOBM

TRINITY HALL– They are just cruising along these days. Nina Emance is #3 in the state in scoring. She may be the most efficient player as well. She had 33 points in 14 shots last week Freehold. There freshman have been better than an anyone could have expected. They had a  combined 37  points in the win over Marlboro and 38 vs Freehold Twp. Siobhan Stapleton is some how not getting credit for having a great start to the season. She has done it all this season.

MANASQUAN– They lost at home to St. Rose after beating Ranney when Olivia Shaughnessy had 17 points. But there saw some real flashes they can build on last week. Katie Collins, McKenna Karlson and Hope Masonious each have played well at times. Rylyn Orlando was a rock vs St Rose. The WOBM is a place for them to start their march towards a another Group Chip and to find some chemistry. A date with RBC looms.

OCEAN TWP– There are at full strength but not fully healthy. Eli and Kayden Clark have been off the charts good. Last year’s leading scorer Jineen Ayyash returned. Gamila Betton has been a force in the lane. Sofia Chebookjian has been like clue and freshman Caroline Bariscillo  is acting like a All Freshman team member. Then ran over Jackson Liberty and Donovan Catholic.

RUMSON FAIR HAVEN– They got kicking last week. Fresham Erin Reid had a breakout week and could be the player that gets this team over the top.. Raquel Guidetti had her first double figure scoring game. While there schedule is crazy. It prepares them for SCT AND STATES. They took their early season frustration out on Middletown North and Colts next in dominant fashion.

HOLMDEL– Since the lost to Trinity, this team has gone on a roll. Alexandra Loucopoulos has been deadly while getting her first 20 point game of the season. Allison has had been a force and McKenzie TEEVAN is showing is will have to be deal with. They are on a three game winning streak and looking to make some serious noise.

TOMS RIVER NORTH– In the biggest game in Ocean County to date. TRN dominated Jax Memorial from start to finish. Megan Sias was unstoppable, ARLIANA  Torres was it seemed everywhere. Julia Godzicki clearly is trying to go out with a bang. She has had been nothing short of sensational to this point.  TRN is a very dangerous crew

RED BANK REG– Coach Truhan’s team seemed like it was ready to fall out of  the TOP 10. But last week this team gained some toughness and  confidence and soon it could be off to the races with a few breaks. Camryn Gardner, Josie Munson and Caroline Pollowall each had big games at some point last week as they rolled over Colts Neck and Middletown North to get back on track. Freshman Riley Wheeler had a big week that included a 20 game vs Colts Neck. Coach Truhan once again  is slowly developing his team and roster in brillant fashion

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEKd She served notice that she will be in the All Freshman conversation with 20 points vs Colts. The most for any baby this year.
