TRINITY HALL opens the season ranked #7 in the State and St. ROSE opens the season ranked #5 in the Shore. Both teams are coming off outstanding seasons from a year ago. Trinity Hall made it to the third round of the SCT and St. Rose lose in the SCT final. Trinity Hall is a senior driven team while St. Rose is a mix of seniors, transfers and freshman. Both teams suffered major losses Jada Lynch who was St. Rose leading scorer has moved on. Meanwhile Trinity lost a very important expected return of Tegan Dreenan who is once again is injured after missing all of last season. Graduation hit St. Rose hard as well as the only returning players with impact mins are Brooke Missry and Belle Alvarado. Meanwhile Trinity returns a bevy of experienced seniors who are battle tested.

TRINITY

TRINITY will rely on Senior Whitney Hobson to run the point. She is solid with no thrills. She is very capable of scoring or setting up teammates. The Emory commit also is a outstanding defender. She will need to be at the top of her game. The St. Rose guards can make a case as the best defensive guards in the Shore Conference. HOBSON is battle tested and has been in the wars over the year


Senior BRIDGET RIGNEY
played real minutes last year. She showed a real ability to score and get to the rim. She also can slide to the point guard position and not miss a beat. Her ability to knock down three’s are very important for a Trinity team that needs to find scoring when teams close ranks on leading scorer Grace Feeney.

ELLA KRYAL is just a freshman but is proven she can score from behind the three point line. She is also a excellent passer. There is no question Trinity Hall will need a big night from Kryal on the offensive side of the ball

Sophomore LYLA LU  was a surprise last year as she recived real extended minutes in big games last year. She is quick and will provide real energy

ST. ROSE

Senior BELLE ALVARADO is the heart and soul of St. Rose. She also is one of the best defensive guards in the state. Her ability to win 50/50 balls and make timely three’s are nothing new. She will run the show for St. Rose. She is battle tested and proven she can play on the biggest stages. The East Stroudsburg bound Alvarado is a major factor.

Sophomore CALLIE DECKER has proved she is ready for prime time this summer and fall. She has D1 offers for good reasons. She lighting quick with real ball handling skills. More importantly she is highly confident and can knock down three’s.

Junior BROOKE JAENICKE was a starter for RFH last season before transfering to St. Rose. She is one of the best on ball defenders in the state. She was First Team All Defense last season while at RFH. She is a excellent passer and can get on shooting rolls at any time. She is a true warrior.

junior Cali Brown is a transfer from Jackson and averaged 14 points a game. She is a legit scoring combo guard. She also is a excellent defender. She is a serious upgrade in talent for St. Rose on both sides of the ball

Sophomore LANEY KROSNOWSKI  has made real progress in the last year. She will play a major role off the bench. She is quick and a excellent defender who can pressure the ball baseline to baseline. She also has turned herself in to a legit shooter to 22 feet.

Freshman PEYTON CLARKE is dangerous off the dribble. She is creative at the rim and can find teammates for easy basketball. When she gets in the open floor she is a serious problem.

ST. ROSE, their guards are simply dynamic defenders and they go 6 deep.

THE FORWARDS

TRINITY

Senior GRACE FEENEY is where it all starts for Trinity. She will be asked to carry the bulk of the scoring. She is a deadly three point shooter who has shown an ability to get to the free throw line as well. She is a excellent rebounder and solid defender. The D1 Bucknell bound senior is a Top 10 player in the Shore Conference.


Senior NIAMH STAPLETON has been around forever. She has been in all the wars. She has been part of some big wins over the years. She can play bully ball, shoot the three, be a screener of passer. She is the teams heart and soul on the glass and will do all the dirty work. Trinity will need a big night from Stapleton tonight

ST. ROSE

Senior BROOKE MISSRY is the ultimate swiss knife on both sides of the ball. She can knock down three’s or post up. She has a real history of big shot making and playing her best on the biggest of stages. She just may be the best player on the floor tonight. A High IQ the Mercyhurst D1 commit is a excellent passer and defender

Jackson transfer Sophomore NATALIE BOWES is just what the doctor ordered. She is big and strong. She played real minutes last season and Jackson and had big moments. Tonight she will get a real taste of what big game Shore basketball looks like.
