TOP 10/ WEEKLY AWARDS🏆🏀

This Week the Top 10 takes on a entirely different look. Some teams need quality wins in order to move up. But as games start to take on more importance. Injuries and transfers come into play.

TOP 10

ST. JOHN VIANNEY- Paul V1 canceled their game.. can you blame them? Then they blew out Christ The King. If it’s possible they are getting better. Time to start asking the question. Is this the best team in state history?

RED BANK CATHOLIC– No Pissott but Ally Carman has suddenly come to life in a big way. She has been Spectacular. The team ball movement was also Spectacular. Molly Kelly continues to shine quietly.

MANASQUAN– They showed real life at times this weekend. Brooke Hollawell has been wonderful. The bench led by Katie Collins and Rylnn Orlando has been a weapon.

HOLMDEL– Somehow they continue to hold it all together. They have played a tough schedule and it’s clearly paying off. It’s been a team effort across the board. They are knocking on the Top 20 door.

ST. ROSE– They are hanging on by a thread. Now cracklings Rosie is out of the lineup. Maggie Cavanaugh tired her best while playing sick( no Covid) last weekend. Now her status is up in the air. The lock of maturity and self control by some of the young players is starting to show.

TRINITY HALL– There backcourt is a problem for everyone but Siobhan Stapleton has been steeping up big lately. She had 17 points and 9 rebounds in a hard fought win this weekend

DONOVAN CATHOLIC- Gabbie Ross was wonderful in a lost to #12 Cherokee. But they are running out of time now. They desperately need a quality win for seeding purposes at this point.

TOMS RIVER NORTH– WATCH OUT!!! Coach Gillen finally pulled the trigger and gave Arilana Torres extended minutes and was rewarded with 16 points and 3 dimes. Gia Pissott was dominating. TRN got a solid win over Atlantic. They may have found there dominating fall lineup.

RANNEY– They are having a dream season. Coach Linney and crew are doing the unexpected. But they too will need to find a quality win if they hope to move up. They are are all in as a group

MIDDLETOWN SOUTH– Can you believe it? Since there opening season lost. They have been grinding out wins. It seems it’s a different star every week. The win over Colts Neck was more impressive than most realize. TOM BRENNAN COACH OF THE YEAR?
