THE ST. ROSE ROSTER BREAKDOWN

COACH MARY BETH CHAMBERS has been around for years. She is one of the most respected coaches on the east coach by college coaches. Her word carries weight. She has been a highly successful  AAU coach. The number of  players she has developed  and sent in to D1 schools and high academic  schools is too long to list. Since saving the St. ROSE program 5 years ago. She has won state titles and been ranked in the state Top 10 each year. She is a master teacher and the best shooting coach these eyes has ever seen boys or girls.

SENIORS

TANIYAH DECKER– 5’7″ Combo… she is the lone senior on the roster with big game  experience. She is explosive in the lane and masterful at all pick and roll sets. Her handle is elite as she is unguardable in the open floor. She has next level quickness and passing version. Her shooting form may be unorthodox but it is highly effective. The future D1 player has a variety of crafty finishing moves in the lane. Her ability to use her body and spin off defenders is next level stuff… this is a player that will catch all coaches attention this weekend.

MAGGIE KERR– 5’10” – SWING… She will be expected to provide depth and rebounding. Maggie has been around and seen lots of winning. She knows the St. Rose system. Now she will get a chance to play a bigger role and that starts this weekend. She will be expected to provide leadership as well

JUNIORS

CASSIDY KRUSIE– 5’8″- COMBO… it’s hard not to fall in love with this gym rat. She is a total warrior and improves by the hour. She is an elite defender who has guarded every top guard in the state of New Jersey and lived to tell the story. It’s the reason she was the 2nd Sophomore in Shore history to make 1st Team ALL DEFENSE. But lost in all this is her no frills wonderful handle. She is a turnover free guard. Now throw in the deadly three point shooting and you get the picture. The future D1 guard is a two player with a competive  nature. This is a player all eyes must be on.

LIZZY MITCHELL-5’8″- COMBO… another gym rat who fought off Injuries last year. As a freshman she multiple 20 point and double figure scoring games. That is because she has elite shooting range to 25 feet . She has a reliable handle and has seen the highest level of competition. She has a total understanding of team defense and is a willing passer. She has added strength and  her body has seen a full upgrade. This  has made her  a problem getting to the rim these days. She has all the tools to play at tbe D1 level and that why she has generated so much interest this spring. Coachable winner and teammate.

CAROLINE CONFORTI– 5’11- FORWARD..surprise, surprise she is back.  Comforti  is becoming a  great story this summer. She started half the season as a freshman two years ago and got hurt, then got lost. But this spring she has been lights out. Her quick leaping ability and long arms make her a rebounding machine. Now throw in the mobility and you got something cooking. She is an excellent defender both inside and out. She has wonderful hands and fills lanes. She has developed a killer mid range game as well. She is busting out  with confidence  right now.

SOPHOMORES

JADA LYNCH– 5’9″ – WING… she is one of the best freshman in the state. She was named FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR IN THE SHORE by the Shore Sports Network. She has a scoring mentality always. She is a handful at the rim and has developed a reliable three point shot. Her ball handing is evoling daily. She is a excellent rebounder and post scorer. She is a rapidly developing  defender. She has a college body and this is why she currently has P5 offers and multiple D1 offers on tbe table. She led ST. ROSE in scoring as a freshman last year. As she matures expect even bigger things for the talented Lynch.

BROOKE MISSRY– 5’9″ …this coaches is a player that has grown by leaps and bounds. She has strong  hands and a body built for basketball. She is a deadly shooter because the shot selection  is elite. Missry is a  wonderful weak side rebounder. She is already a next level passer, she can make the simple pass or the dynamic pass. She is the ultimate teammate and unselfish “ALWAYS”  to a fault.  She has a solid handle and a next level IQ. This  future D1 lock  player could be one of the biggest surprises this weekend. You win and build your culture  with good kids and this is a great place to start.

BELLE ALVARADO– 5’4″- POINT GUARD…if you worried about size, don’t be in this case. That’s because  she plays way bigger than her size. She has a big heart and a big game. BELLE is mega competive and brings multiple skill sets to the table that  her bigger peers could learn from. Like she is the best post feeder in the 2025 class that I know. She plays with pace but understands when to daily it back. Leave her open to 23 feet and she will make you pay.  She is a pit bull on defense and her handle is as good as it gets.  Her MENTAL TOUGHNESS IS OFF THE CHARTS. This  is a player that college coaches should understand  lives, eats and sleeps the game.. or as a A-10 HEAD COACH SAID

She wins your lockerrrom and elevates your culture. “
