As the RBC team celebrated. Daniella Maletsky was extending her hand in a gesture too comfort, St. Rose player Jada Lynch , who had slipped as the horn blew. She knew Lynch was hurting emotional. You have never seen DANIELA MALETSKY without a smile on her face. It seems like nothing can kill her joy. She has a great sense of of humor and is always positive. When you talk about a person with real character. You can start with DANIELA MALETSKY. She is fearless and committed. It’s a good thing, because WEST POINT will have it no other way. This summer ARMY got a verbal commitment from DANIELA MALETSKY. They’re about to find out they got one of the real sleepers in the 2026 class.

It seems things always came late for DANIELA MALETSKY. I guess we never wanted to really give her the flowers she deserved. She has always been one of the best players in the 2026 class. I put her on my 2nd Team All Freshman. This was a disgrace and wrong. Yet she never showed her disappointment towards me. It just has took fans and media folks longer to figure out her greatest. Just like in recruiting. D1 College coaches didn’t really come on strong until the end of the live recruiting period. This after she secretly committed to WEST POINT. It strange but out of nowhere D1 schools were calling and asking her about status. Begging for just once chance to recruit her. It seemed college coaches were hoping for a breakthrough. There would be no breakthrough. You see WEST POINT is for very special people and DANIELA MALETSKY is a very special person. She knew she wanted to play in one of the two best D1 Academic Conferences, the Patriot League. She knew she wanted to attend one of the best schools on planet earth. There was never a chance anyone could sway her.

How a kid gets along with their peers tells you everything you need to know. These kids make good teammates, are great for the locker room and always elevate the teams culture. They also do some thing else. They make teammates better. DANIELA MALETSKY is the best dribble drive passer and scorer in the state. She is a master of beaten opponents of the dribble and finding teammates or finishing at the rime. Her decision making is priceless. It was her sensational dime to Christina Liggio that broke SJV’s heart last year. It is Daniela that is a dog on defense. It is Daniela that is one of the best rebounding guards in New Jersey. These are facts not myths. You see DANIELA MALETSKY may not have gotten the credit over the years. But her teammates and coaches appreciate her. They know without her there are no big wins, no SCT CHIPS and more importantly no fun. That’s because DANIELA MALETSKY is great for the mental health of any team she is part of…

DANIELA MALETSKY has played for the NJ RISE her entire career, with her good friend LOLA GIORDANO. She has been loyal to her coach Ellen Masonious and teammates. She has built an unbreakable relationship with them over the years. They are not just teammates they are some of her closest friends friends in life. Ellen Masonious is not just a mentor. She a 2nd mom as well. In a time where loyalty is treated like a punchline. DANIELA MALETSKY is always all in. Just like she will be at WEST POINT, ALL IN. There is never a question about her loyalty and trust. This is why WEST POINT is such a wonderful choice for Daniela. She will be around like minded people. The people who make the big decisions and stand on guard protecting this country. I can think of no other person I would want on guard more.

It’s funny how RBC kids get better each year. DANIELA MALETSKY has gone from a skinny little freshman. To a strong athletic force these days. RBC, Coach Joe Montano’s eyes light up when talking about her. Her has seen her improve her shooting, IQ and overall game each year. Maybe it was because of the teaching of Bob Green, Jenny Green and Eric Myrick. Maybe it’s because she played one the toughest high schedules in the country. Maybe it’s because she has played on so many big stages and in big games. I really don’t have the reason for her dynamic growth. I just know when she arrives on the ARMY CAMPUS, SHE WILL BE READY. She will embrace the entire experience. That’s because everywhere she has ever been, she’s done exactly that.

It seems everything DANIELA MALETSKY touches turns to goal. She has won at every level of basketball. She has won CHIPS at every level. That’s what winners do. But there are always people in the background. I’m talking about the people who know them best. DANIELA MALETSKY mom Christine Zapata and dad Bernie Maletsky are not just her biggest supporters. Ken Zapata, has been the true rock, he has embraced his step daughter and is the one person in her life that has helped her though her journey every step of the way. There is only way to describe him and that is to call him a angel They truly understand “if you don’t believe in your kid, who will the hell will”. They have believed in their daughter every step of the way. They also trusted their daughter’s inner circle. They taught her live with her commitments. It’s why when other D1 schools tired to come in late. It was never a thought to change their mind. When it came to AAU they taught her not to be a gypsy. When it game to high school. They taught her to trust her coaches and teammates. DANIELA MALETSKY parents are rock stars . Because they understood the importance of supporting their child and taught her morals and values count just as much as one’s talent. If they were to get a grade for rising a child in sports….THEY GET AN A++

So the recruiting part is done. New Army coach, Katie Kuester starts out with a bang. She gets a player that will do anything asked her. She gets a player that will bring smiles to the gym. She gets a player that will help teammates in anyway she can. She gets seriously talent wing player. A true two way player. WEST POINT IS GETTING A PLAYER THEY CAN TRUST….
