Many COACHES AND PLAYERS have been asking about the status of this years ACADEMIC ELITE. There has been some issues with paper work this year that has forced NBS TO RUN this years ACADEMIC ELITE FOR THIS YEAR ONLY outside of the live period.
I more than anyone knows what this event means to so many kids. So with that in mind I have come up with what I believe is a great alternative for this years event. We will run the ACADEMIC ELITE ON JULY 31. While we could run it during the live period, D1 schools would not be able to attend. So with that in mind I think giving everyone a day or two to recover from the playing so many games in a few days is a positive This will allow for more erngy and hopefully better performances. Here are the details on how we will conduct this year event.
* All games will be viewed in HD video by D1, D2, and D3 coaches. D2 and D3 coaches will be allowed to attend the event. College coaches will not be charged a fee to watch the video. This I hope will drive more coaches to watch. ALL COACHES MUST REQUEST THE VIDEO. Those coaches that do request the video, we will post there names on our web page.
* I will personally reach out to Players and asked them to attend. If I don’t reach out to you it’s because I do not have a cell number or E-mail to reach you….YOU CAN STILL ATTEND THE EVENT.
* THERE WILL BE A 30 MIN SKILL SESSION
* GAMES WILL ALL BE ON ONE MAIN COURT…
* THERE WILL BE A HIGHLIGHT VIDEO FOR COACHES TO WATCH AT END OF THE EVENT..
* ALL COACHES WILL RECIEVE A ROSTER OF NAMES…ADDRESS, YEAR IN SCHOOL AND CONTACT INFORMATION.
* ALL PLAYERS ATTENDING MAY BRING A PERSONAL HIGH LIGHT TAPE IF YOU HAVE ONE AND WE WILL POST THAT VIDEO ON OUR WEBSITE FOR COACHES TO VIEW…after the event
* ALL REGISTRATION WILL BE DONE ON THE NBS WEBSITE…THE FEE IS ONLY $125.00…THIS INCUDLES YOUR JERSEY AND NUMBER,
