This weekend the fall recruiting period will kick off and offfically end the AAU season for most. The College coaches will be baby sitting their prize recruits and making sure there are not slip ups, BEFORE THE SIGNING PERIOD. But like every year, schools will be trying to tie up some loose ends in recruiting. Those school who have not filled all their recruiting needs are hoping to find a gem. Then you have those school building that all important list of underclassmen. Today I am going to help out some colleges. Here are five names, that every coach would be wise to pay attention too.

MOLLY WEISS- MARLBORO HIGH SCHOOL- POINT GUARD-’17

If you are in the market for a point guard, there is one name I can assure you will fix any of your problems. Molly Weiss, right now is the the best available ’17 point guard left on the board for my money. She has turned down two D1 offers and has been very selective in where she wants to attend school. This takes real confidence and belief in your game. Why do I say Weiss is the best available Point Guard on the board?  I have seen her matched up against the best of the best. There is no question she has clearly out played some elite players. In fact she has outplayed some of the very players who have already given verbal’s or are highly recruited. Here is what separates Weiss from everyone else. She has a college ready game ….RIGHT NOW! Her ability to run pick and roll, insane deep shooting range behind screens and finally a basketball IQ THAT IS SECOND TO GONE.  Molly Weiss is a impact freshman at the next level….Please call me if you know of any ’17 left on the board that is better…SHE WILL BE PLAYING FOR THE MARTORELLI HAWKS THIS WEEKEND

RYAN WEISE- ALLENTOWN HIGH SCHOOL- SHOOTING GUARD-’18

So you putting together your ’18 shooting guard recruiting list. There is no question that list has a lot of talent. But here is a fact, many people on your list simply cannot match why Weise has done over the past year. Coaches, is as good as any shooting  guard in the ’18 class in the entire state and the numbers back it up….70 threes last year for a team that won 21 game and knocked off Top 10 Notre Dame…she had three 30 point games, one against West Windsor who has talented guard going to Northeastern and Christina Dicindio … She already has 800 points. The Star Ledger named her one of the top 5 players in the ’18 class...she shot 39 percent which would be one of the leading shooting percentages even on the college level. Folks and that’s with teams game planning for her.  Her team won 23 as a freshman and 21 wins last year…and she has been there leading scorer. This young lady could be the most under recruited wing player in the state. She must be be pissed off about it. …Yesterday she came down to the Shore fall league and dropped 30….This young lady better be on your recruiting list of wings….not many are better! She will be in DC with the Coyle Cardinals and of course playing against the Top competition the event has to offer.

Cardinals-Coyle USJN District Heights MD..Sept 24-25 Pool A. Games Sat 12:20 & 5pm then Sun 10:20 & 3:00.🏀✔💯

NICOLE JOHNSON-EAST BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL-’18
You recruiting a ’18 combo guard? Well if  JOHNSON is not on your list, you are sleeping at the wheel. Because right now, she is as good as it gets. She is a small guard that can defender big strong wing players; because her toughness is off the charts. Tired of seeing guards that can’t finish in traffic? Well she is not one of them, because she gets below the foul line and pulls up for the shot or gets to the rim with explosiveness. She coaches right now, is one of the rare ones. The jump shot is pure as it gets, the range off the dribble of from kicks, is just wrong on so many levels. She played most of the summer injured, but she is 100% back. How do I know? Because she is just crushing some very highly recruited and elite guards at NBS….she my friends is a baaaad women. Put her in the Shore and not only is she all shore, but she is a Top 3 point guard. She loves playing against shore competition. Last year her Top 20 high school team, destroyed Shore teams.  By the  way she is an elite student, whose brother went to Harvard….this is the total package! I look forward to telling you “I told you so”….Johnson will be playing with the insanely talented  Team Miller crew.

Nicole Johnson TeamMiller 2018 Friday Night @ NYGFNL plays at 9PM Sept 24/25 NJ Sparks

SARA FURCH- ST. JOHN VIANNEY- FORWARD-’18

So your in panic mode, because you don’t see any ’18 post players. Well you can stop panicking right now. This 6’0″ post player can do it all. She can step back to the three point line and bury three’s. She can put the ball on the deck  and go opponents and most importantly play with her back to the basket. Now here is the problem, sorry low and mid majors, she just may be out growing you. Because right now I have moved her up to the mid major plus category. You think playing against a top 50 post player and two other D1 post players has helped her? Well make no mistake, Sara Furch, has been another SJV superstar in waiting, but now it’s her turn. This young lady has improved in leaps and bounds. She has is making a reputation for playing her best against ELITE competition. She can score with either hand and rebounds in traffic. Not enough, how about this statement. She runs the floor as good as any post in the state. Good Luck everyone, because she is going to be HIGHLY RECRUITED BY EVERYONE COME DECEMBER. She had to wait her turn, but nobody has benefited more from the wait….she will be playing with the MASONIOUS WILDCATS.

MOLLY LYNCH-ST. ROSE – POINT GUARD-’20

So you thinking who are the best babies point guards? You thinking way down the road. Like the 2020 class. Well let me help you out his weekend. The #1 rated point guard in the state in the ’20 class for my money starts right her with Molly Lynch. How many baby point guards do you know can guard senior D1 point guard, week in and week out? How many baby point guards can flat out knock out jumpers? How many baby point guards in New Jersey are better than Molly Lynch? NONE. She has taken her game to a new level and bypassed many  who where thought to be better. She has a electric handle and court vision that can stand up to some D1 seniors. She is fearless and has that all important desire to WORK.  You can start the recruiting process right now, because just like most St. Rose players, she is going to be highly recruited and get better each year. Molly Weiss will be playing the Central Jersey Cardinals this weekend….SHE IS GOING TO BE SPECIAL AND YOU WISE TO GET INVOLDED NOW!
