2026 JERSEY LIVE CHEAT SHEET… COLTS NECK… ST. THOMAS AQUINAS… ST. ROSE

Throughout the next weeks leading up to Jersey Live. I will preview teams and players each day. Today we have three teams that have rosters filled with talented players. All the players I have personally seen play on video, at NBS or during the high school season. I will not evaluate or speak about kids I have not seen play. So understand some very good players could be missed or left out of the report.

There are few thing I wish to clear up before you start.

**A D1 LOCK means the player has D1 offers on the table or has recieved serious interest or I personal inside information about a kids recruiting status

** D1 POTENTIAL means a player has shown D1 talent and not caught the eye of Coaches yet. This player has some work left to do

** A FUTURE COLLEGE PLAYER means a player will play in college at some level even if it’s not D1

** WHEN YOU SEE THE GYM RAT LOGO understand these players add additional value to your program. GYM RATS can play a level above their natural ability. Now with that being said, it DOES NOT MEAN, IF A PLAYER IS NOT A GYM RAT, THAT THE PLAYER IS NOT A HARD WORKER. But I strongly urge coaches as always, recruit Gym Rats, they always get better at the next level and you never have to beg them to give effort or do more.

’28 ALLISON MCANDREW- 5’10”- SWING- She was named the Shore Conference MOST IMPROVED PLAYER for good reason. She has exploded as a player and is physically a beast these days. McAndrew is now among the best ‘28 ‘s in the state. Blessed with the powerful body, elite hands and explosive athleticism. McAndrew presents a dream package for Ivy, Patriot and High Academic programs who are contenders in their leagues. She is serious offense rebounder and has stretched her shooting range to 25 feet off the dribble or on the catch and run. She is mental as tough as they come and a warrior below the foul line. Coaches pay real attention, she will be able to guard undersized power forwards, giving her more versatility. This is a home run recruit playing with the “28 Shoreshots a roster of D1 players. She IS A GYM RAT and a must recruit who is still somewhat under the radar. If you are a mid major and have not offered her yet, watch the video I posted….SHE IS A MID MAJOR STARTER AND D1 LOCK OF LOCKS with a winning personality.

’28 EMILY DONAHUE- 5’7″- TRUE POINT GUARD– She is the best true point guard in the shore. Do not debate this fact. Her leadership skills are 2nd to none. Her ability to commuicate with players, coaches and peers have no match. Before you talk about her basketball skills. First understand this is a player who will elevate your entire culture. She is a coaches dream because she is constantly reading the room better than ANY KID, I HAVE EVER TRAINED OR COACHED…strong words but a fact. She is the best passer in transition in the state. She has willed herself into a deadly shooter behind screens to 27 feet. If your team has a scoring back to the basket post up player, she is just what the doctor ordered. She is the best post passer in the state by a mile. Nobody is in her world. Her total command of the game is special. She knows who should get the ball when and how. Her ability to slip pass defenders and score is a gift. She has the ability to find cutters in tight spots. The truth of the matter is I could go on for days about this young lady’s talent. SHE DOES NOT LOOK THE PART, SO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN EVALUATING HER ….she will be a four year starter if she attends the right level. Mid Major rock star who is a big game shot maker and taker as well.

https://twitter.com/JuliannaJasina/status/2039001825890672846?s=20

’28 JULIANNA JASINA- 5’9″- SWING– There are two words to describe her. WARRIOR AND WINNER. This is a player that would rather die before quitting on a play. She plays way bigger than her size and her competitive nature is dream like. She scored just under 400 points and grabbed just under 200 rebounds. She can play inside and out with a sweet jumper to 20 feet, depending on her matchup. She is a dynamic offensive rebounder with an amazing ability to keep balls alive on the glass. She will give you a full days work always. She is coachable and a true teammate. She has a rock steady inner circle. No crazy parents or expectations regarding stats and hype. SHE JUST PLAYS WITHOUT AN AGENDA. She was The Shore Conference Insiders FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR. This is a player that not only does the winning shit but makes big plays against big competition. She was named to the Shore Coaches ALL SHORE TEAM last year as a sophomore. While her ball handling will not jump off the page. Her handle is rock steady vs pressure. He passing skills are that of a unselfish player who is blessed with next level decision making. This is a Future IMPACT PLAYER AT THE NEXT LEVEL…

’28 AVERY WALLACE- 5’5″- COMBO- She is all about effort and out working opponents. She is blessed with lighting speed and quickness. But it’s her toughness that is what makes her so special. She never give up on a play and more importantly is always locked in. She is a excellent ball handler with a real talent for getting in the lane and finding teammates. She had multiple games of 9 assists, 5 assists and is a reliable three point shooter. She is cool under pressure and that rare guard that does the dirty work. She is flat out wonderful in transition and can slide to the point guard position with ease and effectiveness. She is not a box score junkie, as she is more about doing whatever is needed on any given night. She has proven when asked to, she can score or be a player maker. She is a classic glue player that High Academic’s will fall in love with at JERSEY LIVE

’27 MATTILYN CAFFIERO- 5’7″ – SWING– It’s strange but for some reason her name is rarely brought up come award time. She has been a backbone in the resurgence of the Colts Neck Program. She is a solid three point shooter, who has a wonderful mid range game (but you must pay attention to notice) who does a little of everything on game day. She had over 100 points, 100 rebounds, 50 assists and steals. That’s because she is athletic and has a great ability to anticipate. She uses these skills on the defense end of the floor…SHE IS A UNDERRATED DEFENDER!!! She is a player that college coaches would be wise to pay watch closely because she does so many things that most do not appreciate. There is no flash in her game, just production.

“30 McKENNA WILIS- 5’8”- SWING– The incoming freshman is athletic and has a big upside. She has a excellent body and a explosive first step. She can knock down the three of get to her mid range game. Her crossover is flat out dirty. She fills lanes and already has a understanding of win to pass and win to shoot when under pressure. The handle is rock solid but will great better with time because SHE IS A GYM RAT. She has a chance to be a defensive stopper because of the feet and upper body strength. She has all the tools to one day be a serious recruit at a HIGH ACADEMIC PROGRAMspecial note, her father is a HBCU graduate

https://twitter.com/HoopEmilyBremen/status/1940111054270300255?s=20

’30 EMILY BREMAN- 5’5- POINT GUARD– She is a interesting player. She does not look the part but plays the role. She is a deadly high percentage three point shooter. She has excellent vision and a nice feel for the game. Her handle is very deceptive and appears loose but is NOT. She has a real upside in that she is not reached her physical growth. This is a player rapidly gaining confidence and should be a player that grows year to to year because she has a real level head and is coachable… Coaches what the improvement curve here.

https://twitter.com/Vdellapesca21/status/2046071085485969854?s=20

29 VIVIANA DELLA- 5’6-COMBO– She is a player that is evolving in recent months. She has a serious attitude and is trying to get her game to another level. She has shown a real ability to knock down shots with range and off the dribble. She has some real jazz to her game to create space and get shots off. Her maturity and accountability in the past year has been magical. Make no mistake she is a capable of having big scoring nights. She starting to figure out that defense can be asset to her game as well. She plays hard and with a edge. Interestingly this is a very confident player. She is competitive and clearly has real ambitions. HER IMPROVEMENT CURVE HAS BEEN OUTSTANDING….. SHE IS A PROSPECT WORTH WATCHING!

GYM RATS (1)

’27 LEAH KEARNEY– 6’1″- FORWARD/WING– She is a hard nose fighter with a winning attitude. This is a player who lives for the game. You watch her play and know she is committed. She is a GYM RAT who loves to compete. She is a rebounding machine and a elite defender in the post and can guard athletic wings. She is active it seems on and off the ball. She runs the in transition like a guard. She is a physical offensive post player. She can currently step out to 17 feet. But recently has shown as she did last season, flashes of being a three point shooter. This is a future D1 ONE PLAYER, who may surprise people at the next level with her production.

https://twitter.com/TCorrigan21/status/2056548494098223283?s=20

’28 LEXI AMISTAD-BOROWSKI – 6’1″ FORWARD– She is starting to look more and more like a possible D1 player. She has size and is mobile and excellent cutter away from the ball. There is a real stretch forward here with the potential to surprise at Jersey Live. She has active hands and is a better athlete than she appears to be. Her ball handling skills while raw show real potential. This is a player coaches must watch and give her time to fulfill her potential and their is a lot of it there.

’28 JAELA RUSSELL- 6’2- FORWARD- This is a D2/D3 ALERT!!! This is a player that is emerging, it’s been a slow but steady process. If you haven’t noticed the conditioning upgrade, it’s because you have not seen her in the past. The is a player with a the potential to have a dominant presence because of her size and excellent hands. But if you sleeping you will miss the natural instincts on the floor. As she learns to finish plays and use her size she could get a few D1 schools to peek in… stay tuned, is the right play for college coaches. It will come down to her work ethic and commitment.

SYDNEY JOSEPH- 5’9″- COMBO- This is a player that has played against some of the best in the state. She is a classic combo guard who plays with a real relaxed type of game. It is very hard to speed her up or get her out of her comfort zone. She had over 200 points and Rebounds last season. She has a excellent handle that and can flash exciting and dynamic moves. She is a excellent three point shooter but does not overdose on them. She takes what the defense presents. JERSEY LIVE WILL OFFER A CHANCE FOR HER TO STEAL THE SPOTLIGHT

ST. ROSE HIGH SCHOOL

COACH– Christine Hatfield

POTENTIAL D1 PLAYERS (3)

DIVISION ONE LOCKS (1)

COLLEGE POTENTIAL – (6)

BROOKE JAENICKE- 5’9″- TRUE COMBOShe is the best on ball defender in the state of New Jersey. She is a D1 defender right now. She is strong and physical with a work ethic and attitude from the Heavens. Because of the defensive talents it hard to say what her true level of play is going to be, but it going to be impactful wherever she lands. She is a D3, high academic NATIONAL CONTENDER type guard and Patriot school must peek in. She is a more than reliable three point shooter because you cannot keep her out of the gym. She does ‘”THE WINNING SHIT” both on and off the court. She is beyond coachable and seems to get better even now as a rising senior everyday. He ball handling skills are just what the doctor ordered against pressure. You cannot knock her off her dribble. She is a extra pass savant. This is a 50/50 ball genius and never as in never misses a box out. She can guard post players( not a miss print). This is a classic versatile WINNING GUARD…

’27 CALLIE DECKER- 5’9′- COMBO SHOOTING GUARD– She is a deadly high percentage three point shooter with parking lot range. Her handle is rock solid but she can break out the razz and jazz with the best of the best. This is a player that is reliable on game day and ALWAYS SHOWS UP. She never has an excuse. They say the best ability is availability and she is always availability. She stacks hours and days with the best of them. It’s why everytime you see her, her game expands. Coaches anything you tell her to do, she will do it and not make excuses. She embraces hard coaching and never backs down from it. She step up always and at times has unrealistic goals, mostly do to confidence and her ability to dream big. This is a player with tremendous pride. She loves to compete and do the extras. Her ability to break down defenders is special. In fact she doesn’t do it enough because she is so unselfish. She has a knack for taking over games and showing up against the best competition. THIS IS A FUTURE D1 PLAYER… IN FACT BY SUMMER’S END, SHE WILL HAVE MULTIPLE OFFERS

’28 LANEY KROSNOWSKI- 5’5″ – COMBO– She is rough and tumble type guard. She will give you a full buck on each night. This is a player in elite physical conditioning and brings a physical presence to the guard postion. She plays each guard spots equally well. She has turned herself into a legit three point threat off screens of off the catch. She is murder in transition as she can get to the rim or become a play maker. … College coaches pay real attention to what I am about to say next. SHE IS A SHOOTERS BEST FRIEND... she has a full understanding on how to find shooters. Her basketball IQ is next level and so is her work ethic, she takes and gives no quarter. She is the ultimate GYM RAT!

Peyton Clark (2) of St. Rose dribbles against Kayla Navarro (30) of St. Thomas Aquinas during the Coaches Choice girls basketball showcase between St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Rose at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Edison, NJ on 1/11/26.

’29 PEYTON CLARK 5’5″- POINT GUARD– She is magical with the ball in her hands. She is almost unguardable off the bounce. But it’s when she is in the lane that makes her so dangerous. Her vision and quick spidey senses are off the charts. She is totally off the charts in transition because of the speed and change of direction and ability to stop on the dime. She has all the makings of a future Defensive warrior. She has every finishing move in the book at the rim. Her IQ is only matched by god given natural ability. While her shooting is a work in progress, it has improved over the past year and will not stop her from playing against the best of the best… This is a future D1 LOCK

’27 NATALIE BOWES- 6’1″- FORWARD– Size matter in the world of recruiting these days and she has lots of it and length as well. Some kicks just give you that feeling, she is one of those kids. She can score around the rim with either hand and their is real talent here. She understands how to set screens and rolls. While not super athletic, she has a real understanding how to position herself. She is a excellent 18ft shooter who must be acknowledged. She is a legit 6’1+ and suffers only from a lack of playing time. This is a player willing to learn and embracing getting to another level. It’s hard to believe she won’t to achieve this goal. I like most who have seen her, have a good feeling about this kid. You know she has something ready to breakout in a big, big way. Call it what you want, I call it a kid emerging. There are some real positives here AND SOMETHING DOWN THE ROAD, THATS BIG THAT AWAITS THIS YOUNG LADY.

BRIELYNN COOPER- 5’8″- SWING/GUARD– She is physically gifted and has motor. She has all the makings of a elite defender, strong, quick and lateral movement. She gets to the rim with pace and force. She has a more than reliable handle. She is wonderful at getting her hands on balls for tips and steals. She is a excellent rebounding guard. She plays bigger than her size. Cooper has a chance to surprise coaches at Jersey Live. She is without question a college prospect, the only question is what level.
