2026 JERSEY LIVE INDIVIDUAL CHEAT SHEET….PLAYERS IN THE EVENT WHO CAN STEAL THE SPOTLIGHT
Today I will give you a list of players on teams that may not have many college bound or Division One players. These are players who in most cases decided to stay in their home towns and play for their hometown school. These players bring lots of value to the next level and often a College Program can steal a kid under the radar. THEY SAY THIS IS THE TIME OF THE YEAR A PLAYER WITH REAL TALENT AND POTENTIAL CAN STEAL THE SPOTLIGHT... This group has that ability to do so!

There are few thing I wish to clear up before you start.
**A D1 LOCK means the player has D1 offers on the table or has recieved serious interest or I personal inside information about a kids recruiting status
** D1 POTENTIAL means a player has shown D1 talent and not caught the eye of Coaches yet. This player has some work left to do
** A FUTURE COLLEGE PLAYER means a player will play in college at some level even if it’s not D1

** WHEN YOU SEE THE GYM RAT LOGO understand these players add additional value to your program. GYM RATS can play a level above their natural ability. Now with that being said, IF A PLAYER IS NOT A KNOWN GYM RAT BY ME, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE NOT A HARD WORKER . But I strongly urge coaches as always, recruit Gym Rats, they always get better at the next level and you never have to beg them to give effort or do more. BUT REMEMBER many players evolve into GYM RATS and many fall back from being Gym Rats
SPOTLIGHT PLAYERS…
‘28 AVA CATANHO- EAST BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL- 6’0″ WING– This is a very special player with a winning style. She is long, athletic and tough as they come . She has seen it all, double teams, physical play, quick jetter bugs and of course size in a effort to slow her down. None of it has worked and that is because her offensive game is a total package. She shoots the deep three , has the mid range game, gets to the rim and most importantly gets to the foul. She is a excellent rebounder with over 100 rebounds last season. But what really gets lost is her defense and competitive nature. Her handle leads you to believe she can slid easily to the point guard position due to her high IQ and dynamic passing skills. She has real next level positional size. Now the question is what level of play? She is a HIGH MAJOR + LOCK, but I still say she is a P4 player(Coaches check my track record in such matters).
‘28 ELAINA KRAYBILL- EGG HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL- 5’11+- FORWARD– Coaches understand the young lady has made a bold choice playing for the NJ RISE this summer. It means 3 hours in a car three days a week. She is doing this because Egg Harbor offers little exposure for this talented rising junior. She is without question the biggest surprise in the ’28 class in the event. That’s because very few KNOW of her right now. That is about to change in a big way. She is big and strong. Her lower body allows her to crave out space in the paint for post ups, clear space for offensive rebounds and flash her “next level footwork”. This is a player who is clearly hungry and desperate. She rebounds outside of her area and runs the floor. She will not take a play off for any reason. It’s clear she has not been spoiled with hype and attention. This has apparently fueled her game. Many will get more hype in the “28 class but few are as productive. She is not just a big “red head”. She is mobile with ball handling and real passing talents. She has no problem shooting the three with ease and comfort. She may not look like she can guard quick athletic wings and post. But the video don’t lie folks… she can not only guard them. She can turn out the lights on them and has proven it. Last year a player not known by many outside of Scranton Pa and Philly showed up at NBS by the name of CHLOE MAMERA and she killed everything walking and talking in the gym. Including some big name ’28’s a year ago… well there may be another killing spree, but this time not a NBS and not by Mamera, but rather by Miss Kraybill at JERSEY LIVE… SHE IS A D1 MID MAJOR LOCK

‘28 KENDALL FREDRICKSEN- BRICK TWP-5’9+- COMBO/ SHOOTING GUARD- College Coaches pay attention. She played along the Shore Conference FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR and at times did not get her due. She may have gotten lost by those not in the know. But Kendall Fredricksen is the real deal. The postinal size and length will grab your attention, but its that other stuff you need to pay attention too. That because of a little word called “versatility” that is so overused. This is a player that not only has emerged but has shined. It called player development and that is what has taken place over the past two years. The numbers don’t lie and either does the work ethic. She has soaked up the knowledge of master teacher, Coach Mary Beth Bowers and grown in leaps and bounds in the past 4 months alone.

KENDALL FREDRICKSEN was once labeled as a three point shooter. Now she call only be called a jock of all trades. She now shoots the deep three to 28 feet with her eyes close. She now can slid to the point and be the ultimate playmaker. While she has not hit her growth spurt, her strength has improved along with her defense both on and off the ball. This a player stacked with confidence that can play any role these days. Her ability to rebound and start the break is a joy to watch in such a young player. Finally, she is as tough as nails. SHE HAS THE ABILITY TO PLAY THROUGH PAIN…. NOW LET ALL THAT SOAK IN COACHES, THIS FUTURE D1 LOCK HAS JUST GOTTEN STARTED…because this is real talk coaches.
‘

27 ACADIA WALTERS-BISHOP EUSTACE – 5’6″- POINT GUARD/COMBO– she is the fastest rising prospect in the ‘27 class and state, I have seen…PERIOD. Has sneaky blistering speed in the open court with the ball in her hands and makes twitchy, quick moves in the half court off the catch or bounce. Very slippery when in tight spaces with the rare ability to find passing and scoring angles others cannot see. Could have an entire transition defense in panic mode in the blink of an eye, if they are jogging momentarily or disengaged at any time. Has a way of embarrassing athletic top defenders by utilizing speed changes and shiftiness. You simply cannot go under screens against her. She is deadly in all pick and rolls or ball screen actions. Smooth and dangerous because she doesn’t look the part. Plays with poise and understanding vs pressure. She is a unique and special talent.. Her ability to be an elite scorer or playmaker is what separates her from just about every guard I have seen this spring . You often can miss her because again she doesn’t look the part. Coaches this GYM RAT is a whole different type of animal. I watched her recently destroy a group of current D1 players in a pick up session. ….she is a PATRIOT LEAGUE…IVY AND MID MAJOR + STARTER and impact as a freshman.
KYLEE BEAM- HOWELL HIGH SCHOOL – 5’11”- FORWARD– She is big and strong and a underrated athlete. Her quickness surprised opponents as does her lighting quick first step. She has those strong hand and it allows her to be a excellent rebounder. Her passing skills are next level right now. Her ball handling skills may lead one to believe she is a three. But her wheelhouse is the stretch four position because of her ability to hit the stand three and make the hi-low pass. She is physical and aggressive but rarely takes bad fouls or bad shots. This is a big time screener. If you have elite shooters, you must watch her play. Kylee Beam is a outstanding defender in the post. She has guarded some of the best post not only in the state but the country as well. SHE IS A DIVISION ONE LOCK. Interestingly, if she picks the right level of play, she will be a ALL CONFERENCE TYPE. The junior is already the all time leading scorer in Howell High School basketball history….

SOPHIA FEENEY-BAYONNE HIGH SCHOOL- 5’6″- POINT GUARD– Coaches this is flat our a rough rider. She is the type of point guard you want to go to battle with in big games vs big time competition. The quickness, the speed, IQ and toughness are on full display. She is the young guard that understands that speed and talent must be used wisely. Her ability to use screens and read are sensational. If you have not seen her, you are in for a real treat. She is a hound dog on defense and refuses to lose, when it comes to 50/50 balls. This is a whole different type of competitive nature. She values every part of the game, shooting, passing, rebounding, defending and leading. She was the PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN HER COUNTY AS FRESHMAN. Now some will be surprised because they simply do not understand or know… but I believe she is POWER 4 PLAYER…. COACHES YOU BE WISE TO LISTEN. This is not phony hype and fake ranking talking. These are fact and once again check my track record in such matters.
ZOE WASSERLAUF– DEMAREST HIGH SCHOOL- 5’6″ COMBO/POINT GUARD- She is emerged and has seen a real upgrade in her game. She is fulfilling her potential and doing it in a big way against real competition. She is the prototype SCORING POINT GUARD. She SHFTY AND NASTY. Her handle is just what you hope for in a undersized point guard/Combo. She can slide to big wing position because of her strength and toughness. Her shooting range is effective to 25ft and her shot selection is excellent and thoughtful. Regardless of the competition, she will put the ball in the basket. She is excellent at getting in the lane and creating havoc. She is a willing next level passer who is masterful at feeding the post. She is a pitbull on defense and a true ball hawk. But the skill set for some strange reason everyone is missing, is her toughness and competitive nature. She REBOUNDS IN TRAFFIC AND NOT AFRAID TO OFFER UP HER BODY. She is a D1 Lock and could climb as high as to a MId Major + because of the emerging game. THIS IS A MUST D1 GAME CHANGING RECRUIT!!
CAMERON ROCHE- WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL – 6’0″ SWING/ GUARD- Excellent size and length, next level shooting range to 25ft. High IQ with thing frame that rapidly developing. Reliable ball handler, excellent passer and excellent decision. She does not having blazing speed but notice, she is never out of position on defense. She has been coached up or has a real work ethic. True rebounding guard who gets off her feet, rebounds with both hands and when she gets to college and receives a true weight program she could be a dominate rebounder from wing. She has a huge upside and do not be surprise if she is college impact ready a year from now. This is a player a that could slip though the D1 cracks. She is a D3 National Contender type recruit and Patriot League schools should play close attention.
