WE ARE ONE WEEK INTO THE SEASON and I already know a few things

I know Addy Nyemchek is the best player in NEW JERSEY and it’s not even worth a conversation. If she is not in the Macdonald ALL AMERICAN GAME, shame on everyone

I know Manasquan once again looks like a group 2 power and one of the Top 5 teams in the the Shore. Jordyn Hollawell can’t play much better. But the key to everything has been CALISTA VOWTERAS who has been spectacular in every way. Both on offense and defense.

I know we have had a few freshman step up. None bigger than Ella KRYAL who Ewing face guarded and essentially play the box one on. Thats a real tribute to the freshman

I know that MACKENZIE KLATSKY had 368 points last season. But after watching her open the season with 31 points. I believe see will score over 400 hundred and knock on the 500 door

I know we don’t appreciate greatness at times. Like Tessa Liggio has exactly “ZERO” turnovers this season. Now you know why she is the best point guard in New Jersey by a mile

know ARI WISSEN is going to make a run at First Team All Shore. Her 35 points is the most by a BRICK player in recent memory

I know Erin Reid has been spectacular the first week of the season. She has put RUMSON on her back leading them to a surprising 3-0 start. She has to be thinking All Shore right now

I know Colts Neck must be very disappointed with there start to the season. Injuries and sickness has put them back on their heels. There also learning that they can’t sneak up on teams

I know St. Rose is a hot mess. There rotation of 12 kids has cost them two games they were leading and then they ran into PAUL VI. They have a huge uphill climb for a team so early in the season

I know TRINITY HALL. has proven it’s one for all and all for one. It seems a different player can step up at any time. Senior Whitney Hobson has been the ultimate leader, Grace FEENEY a model of consistency, and Miss Stapleton, is the backbone. They look like a team that could make a deep run

I know SJV has all the tools. They’ve run up the score in the pre season and done the same to start the season. The big three Kocis, Lockhart and SOFILKANICH have been as advertise. But they can’t do it alone, someone other than those 3 will need to step up

I know RBR and Howell ducked the Shore games. But it doesn’t mean they don’t have what it takes Howell’s Kylee Beam is easily the best junior in the Shore and SYNAI BLYCHANTON has been terrific to start the season for Red Bank regional. But both teams have played soft schedules. We call that padding the wins.

I know that some kids improved their stock last weekend and some are going to realize things are not what they thought they were

I know nobody right now is beating RBC. The gap between them and the state is huge. There crunching NATIONALLY RANKED teams. You’re going to have to catch them on a bad shooting night if you have any hope.

I know my TOP 10 is going to look very different than a week ago. That’s because some teams are overrated and some under appreciated.
