MERRY CHRISTMAS and very soon Happy New Year. But before get to the New Year. Let’s look at the Top 10 teams and see what gifts they have brought this Holiday season. So today we have our HOLIDAY TOP 10
The Holidays saw some real movement for the first time in the Shore Conference. We also saw some player begin to separate themselves from crowd. The Showcase games certainly are going to be exciting this Holiday period. The college coaches will be out in full force the next 2 weeks!

THE 5 BIGGEST BIG STORIES
1. TRINITY HALL is cooking and there star guard. They knocked off Top 20 RFH in dominating style. Then took out Top 10 Shore RBR. Nina EMNANCE looks like the POY front runner again
2. WALL has quietly been rolling. There are 3-0 and it looks like they are making up for lost time a year ago. They have won all three games by double figures.
3. DEYVN QUIGLEY HAD 43 of Manchester’s points in a 58-43 win over TOMS RIVER EAST
4. ST.ROSE guard Belle Alvardo is injured in a lost to Albertus Magnus. Making her the 3rd starter St. Rose has lost this year. The good news Alvardo has passed concussion protocol and will return next game.
5. FREEHOLD TWP is 4-0. But what’s most impressive is with the exception of one game. Each game has been won by 5 or less points. That’s called coaching and kids with a competitive nature. They’ve had a different leading scorer in each game. They won 7 games all year last season

1. NINA EMNACE puts on show vs RBR and has the the best 2 minute performance these eyes has seen in recent history as Trinity downs RBR.
2. ALLISON CANNON had 26 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks as Holmdel hung on to defeat Neptune
3. 5’10” MARISA AMITIE’ OF WALL
20 Points .. 7… Rebounds and electric defense to save the day for undefeated WALL.
4. Colts Neck Jules Kowaleski was sweet from the land of MILK AND HONEY last week vs Marlboro … with 8 Three’s in a much needed win
5. JULIANNA OLD with a Monster game .double double 17 pts 18 rebounds as Jackson Memioral gets the two point win over WOODBURY.

HOLIDAY TOP 10
1. SJV– They enter the Holidays rolling into Florida. Stella Lockhart and Ashley SOLFILKANICH have been spectacular. Meanwhile Madison Kocis is heating up averaging 13 points in her last two games
2. RBC– They seem to get more impressive each game. Katie Liggio went off vs Pennsylvania powerhouse, Scranton prep with 5 threes and 17 points. Addy Nyemcheck has been off the charts consistently good all season. Coach Montano crew is scary right now
3. MANASQUAN- OLIVIA SHAUGHNESSY was simply dominant in Manasquan’s s win over Ocean Twp on the road. Her 18 points were a carer high and her 5 rebounds led the way. They have chemistry and big wins under there belt.
4. TRINITY HALL – TRINITY HALL jumps up a spot, after two tough losses to Gil Bernard and Manasquan. Grace Feeney and Lilly Riggi are acting like prime time players. Both are becoming reliable scorers and big play makers. They crushed undefeated Southern and knocked off a game RBR.
5. OCEAN TWP– OCEAN TWP drops a spot after losing to red hot Manasquan at home. Kayden Clark was a bright spot scoring 14 points. They get another big test against RBC next.
6. RUMSON FAIR HAVEN– RFH came back down to earth as they were roughed up by Trinity Hall on the road. There opening schedule has been all games against State Top 20 teams. They finally got a breather against non Top 20 Manalapan. SYLVIE NOTINE is quietly cooking. She had 13 points last week against both Trinity and Manalapan. Coach Callahan has to love where his team is at. They are ranked in the Top 20.
7. HOLMDEL– If the name of the game is survive and advance. Then Holmdel is mastering the art. Mackenzie Teevan was sensational in a lost to Manasquan. A game much closer than the final score. Then Homdel got by NEPTUNE by 4 points as Allison Cannon took over with 26 points. Red hot Mackenzie Teevan had 16 points, 14 rebounds and closed the game with big free throws. Homdel is hanging on at the 7th spot.
8. ST. ROSE– St. Rose had a up and down week. They went 3-1 and showed flashed of what they just may be come SCT time. TANAIYAH DECKER has shown she can at times carry the offensive load, she had 21 and 18 in win vs Patterson Eastside and Freehold Boro. Jada Lynch who has been rock solid all season had 24 points vs Albertus Magnus in a tough lost. But the real story is point guard Bella Alvarado who had Robert Albertus game will be this week. Chrissy Hatfield has proven she has the touch.
9. RBR– RBR had Trinity Hall on the ropes and let them get away in the 4th quarter. Then they lost another close one to Mount St. Mary’s by 4 point’s. Camryn Gardner’s 15 points, 6 rebounds, 2 dimes and steals were wasted as no other RBR player scored in double figures. They guard play against pressure has been the issue.
10. WALL– WALL is undefeated and Shayne Eldridge has been rolling in a major way. The senior has had 21 points in two of WALL’s three wins. Junior Marissa Amite has been next level good. She had 20 and 7 vs Pt Boro. EMILY TVRDIK is getting healthy and looking ready to be her dominant self. This is team is moving up in the rankings.
