THE PRESEASON TOP 10. The Shore Conference is the gold standard in girls basketball. There are currently 5 teams ranked in the Top 20 poll. SJV has not lost a game in state in 4 years are the heavy favorite to win the SCT.

1. SJV– They are the team to beat. Right now there is a massive gap between them and everyone else. They are ranked #12 Nationally

2. St Rose– Right now there are the biggest Threat to SJV, when Decker becomes Eligible

3. Manasquan – The talent is there, they will need to find more chemistry if they want another Group 2 title

4. RBC– They have a boat load of talented babies. What to do with them and how to keep the seniors happy is the question.

5. TRINITY HALL– They have all the parts and a star player in NINA EMNACE. If they can find a consistent 2nd scorer watch out

6. OCEAN TWP – They will be whole in 2 weeks and once they are, they become one of the most dangerous teams in the Shore.

7. RFH– They are ranked #17 in the state and there coach believes they can beat anyone. Julia CORSENTINO will score her 1000th in opening night vs St. Rose

8. RBR– They have the best frontline in the shore not named SJV. They have a masterful coach in John Truhan. Guard play will be the deciding factor

9. HOLMDEL– This program is one of the toughest in the state. They once again have a new coach. They have enough talent to move up in the rankings

10. WALL– This is a dangerous crew. They have tons of scoring and lots of talent. They could easily been ranked higher.
