While there is lots of talent on the Manasquan roster. It is a group basically made up of guards. Unlike in the past, there is is no superstar on the roster. This will be a first in over 10 years. But there is certainly lots of talent in fact D1 talent. While this team make not have many traditional gym rats. They have hard works who will grind when in the gym. Today I will take a deep dive into the Manasquan open gym roster.

GRACE LOVE is a 5’9″ wing player. She had a big summer which caught the eye of a number of college coaches. She is a true scorer, either from the point line or in the lane. She has excellent size and a natural basketball IQ. She is a vastly improved player who should find herself in demand.

She has a reliable handle and is an aggressive offensive player. She gets on the glass and is a willing passer. There is lots of upside here

She has an excellent handle and is a next level passer. She is a big time rebounding guard. This is a player that makes winning plays. She is a D1 player floating under the radar. Colleges would be wise to watch her closely and she’d be wise to be patient in the recruiting process. Shea Donnelly is packed with talent and more importantly a culture type player. She has played and delivered in some big games over her career. She will not play the media or social media hype game. So you must do your homework… start with her performances with big time competition

KAYDEN CLARK is a 5’9″ guard. She will have to sit 20 days due to the transfer rule in NJ. She is the ULITIMATE GYM RAT. That alone will be bring value to the Manasquan team. She is arguable the best shooter in the Shore conference. She was 1st team All Defense and 1st Team All Freshman. She is an elite shot blocking guard. She is an elite finisher at the rim and murder in transition. This is the total package, she has D1 offers on the table. She is flat out a killer with an off the charts competitive nature. This is the best available senior left on the board in the 2025 class.

THE JUNIORS

JORDYN HOLLAWELL is a 5’7″ lighting quick guard. She started last season for the Group 2 Champs. She has the potential to be an elite defender at the next level. She can play both the both or wing. She has a wonderful upside.

LOGAN McCARTHY is a 5’5″ guard and personally I love this kid. Coaches she is smart and talented. Forget her size because she has a winning game. Knows where the ball schools go and more importantly knows how to get it there. She is aN excellent baller vs pressure and a smart defender. She has a competitive nature. She will bury the three and more importantly take good shots and make good decisions. This is a program kid and glue type player that does all the winning things on and off the court. Coaches, you want this kid in your program for too many reasons to list, you be wise to listen.
