One thing is clear and that is some kids and teams are stepping up this fall. This fall we have seen too many breakout players to mention. The fall league is winding down and multiple sport players are moving more towards the basketball season.
My Top 10 is looking pretty solid these days. The Top 4 in my mind are rock solid.
1. RBC- there getting better each week
2. SJV- there a clear and present danger
3. MANASQUAN – there sharing the ball
4. OCEAN TWP- the chemistry is deadly
5. RBR- this could be the surprise team of the year
6. TRINITY HALL- they’ll need to regroup
7. St. ROSE- they play hard
8. RANNEY- surprise
9. HOLMDEL- I’m just not sure
10. RFH- who knows until the troops show up
RFH FRESHMAN, Grace Smith is looking like an impact freshman this season. She has been dominating her class in every fashion. Nobody saw this coming.
GAMELA BETTON of Ocean Twp is not getting the credit she deserves and her performance in the far league has been outstanding.
Why is Katie Collins and Addy Nyemcheck the favorites for PLAYER OF YEAR in my mind? Three things, their teams have showed up big this fall, they have let no rock unturned all fall and have trained with a purpose. More importantly they have been dominate in their training and fall games. I guess that sums it Synai Blychantonup.
Cassidy Kruise of St. ROSE was scary good last week. Her new found shooting range and ability to get to the rim are weapons ST. Rose is in desperate need of. Her timing could not be any better.
MY ALL SHORE TEAM IS GOING TO SURPRISE YOU RIGHT NOW
POY- Katie Collins, Manasquan
Addy Nyemcheck- RBC
Eli Clark – Ocean Twp
Deyvn Quigley- Manchester
Allison Cannon- Holmdel
Nina EMNACE- Trinity Hall
Allison Cannon right now is playing on an entire different level that just about anyone. More importantly she is doing it in both sides of the ball. Her explosiveness is scary. She will be a 4 year starter at NJIT.
If you’re not paying attention to OLIVIA SHAUGHNESSY, then you’re missing something very exciting. Folks she 100% is a game changer for Manasquan. SQUAN has been looking for leadership the past year and now have found it in there junior D1 guard.
MEGAN SIAS may be in the a long year in teams of team success. But the good news is the senior looks outstanding right now. There is no question the D1 commit to StoneHill will have a ALL SHORE season.
I have a funny feeling that Howell is going to have a great season. I also get the feeling they are going to pick off a top team this season.
It’s just a meaningless fall league game. But watching the 8th grade Neptune team dominate Trinity Hall has to raise eye brows. Neptune has so much quickness, speed, shooting and talent in the pipeline. They could easily be a Top 10 team next year.
You want to know a player stepping up in a big way? How about Hayley Poser of Ranney. The future D1 guard made her NBS debut last weekend. The result? Impressive in every way. Poser is the real deal folks!
Now college coaches he is a little dark secret nobody wants to talk about. But make no mistake 2025 KIERA MCKOWN of HOWELL is one of the best forwards in the SHORE right now and that was proven once again vs Manasquan last week. The young lady is going to be the apple of D1 coaches eyes real soon.
Synai Blychanton or RBR is going to special. She has improved her shooting and is an electrician in transition because she can score or be a play maker. Once she learns the art of stopping on the dime… GOOD LORD!
What do you know, SOPHIE SMITH got a new friend
THE PRE SEASON BOOT CAMP IS RIGHT SROUND THE CORNER
