If we’re talking about the best players in the Shore, then look no further than GRACE FENNEY OF TRINITY HALL. THATS because right now she is on a very short list of best players in the Shore Conference.
Grace Feeny, doesn’t play for a hyped up high school team. But she has turned Trinity Hall into a Top 20 in the state of New Jersey. She doesn’t play for a AAU team that attracts 100s of coaches. Yet she has helped her RISE team become one the best. You see Grace Feeney has been doing her thing in the shadows and that’s fine by her. That’s because right now folks can spin it anyway they want but she is clearly one of the 6 beast players in the Shore Conference. Meaning these days she is a first team All Shore player. She just doesn’t have the hype.
You see FEENEY will never get crowned. That’s because she doesn’t travel in the hype world. She doesn’t get the hype of a RBC or SJV player. She doesn’t get the hype of a Shoreshot or PHILLY RISE team. In fact most barely know or care about Grace FEENEY. But her opponents know her and they know her very well. That’s because 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists are hard to deny. More importantly she getting these numbers not at the expense of teammates. That’s because she is unselfish and more
concerned about chemistry and team building that her personal glory. She is not a box score junkie but she fills the box score up every night. 27 points vs Top 20 opponents. 20 points games are no surprise. What is a surprise is how she does it these days. At 6’0” the big wing punishes opponents on the offensive glass. She lives at the free throw line and brings a deadly high percentage three point shooting game combined with a vicious game off the dribble. But that’s not all because her shot blocking and defense are an added layer to her game. This is why she will be a nightmare one day at the division one level. That’s why college coaches are going to discover this is a player that is hard to find these days. Talented, HIGH IQ, Coachable and emerging into a mega star. It’s GRACE FENNEY humbleness that has helped her get to this point. Not just her talent.
There are big names in the Shore. There are players with nice stats. But here is a fact, there are few that are doing better than Grace FEENEY. There are those getting lots of D1 recruiting these days. But few deserve more recognition or recruiting that GRACE FEENEY. We have some talented big name players that we try so hard to crown. Grace FEENEY doesn’t need a crown. That’s because she has something more important that a crown. It’s called facts and the fact of the matter is these days nobody is more consistent and doing it better day in and day out…. FACTS!
If you asked the average fan who are the leading candidates for Player of The Year so far in this season. I doubt many if any would list Grace Feeney, but I bet if you ask Coach Matt McCarthy, he’d say Feeney must be in the conversation. That’s because he is getting a front row seat to Grace FEENEY’s magical season. A season that should not really be a surprise. That’s because all fall GRACE FENNEY handled her business. She was the best player PERIOD! In the Hoop Group Fall league. She got locked in on the weight room. She is big, strong and powerful these days. She has a college ready D1 body. Her fitness level is elite. These are some of the reasons GRACE FEENEY IS ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL.
There is no question in my mind that GRACE FEENEY is one of the best 2026 players in the entire state. That’s just a fact proven by her performance against the best of the very best. There is no doubt in my mind when it all shakes out in the end. She will be one of the best college players in the 2026 class. Her numbers in fact will be better in college. How do I know this? Because her IMPROVEMENT CURVE is the best in the SHORE CONFERENCE by a country mile. And we all know the Improvement curve is always the measuring stick. And GRACE FEENEY just may be the measuring stick for all in the Shore one day… SHE IS THAT GOOD!
