THE SHORE CONFERENCE TOP 5 PLAYERS BY CLASS!

Today, I will have a little fun. So who are best best players in each class. Remember development plays a big role. A kid one year could be at the top of this list and in another year can fall off the list. Now we all know this is subjective and hopefully causes lots of debates and fun. Just remember I’ve seen ALL theses kids in real environments against real competition. If a player is not playing against competition..I have no opinion.  I know the work ethics of most , weather there good teammates and MOST IMPORTANTLY does there game translate to the next level…so here we go. Now keep in mind the players are listed in no order… it’s just the 5 best in each class. But also keep in mind some mega talents did not make the cut for NOW!.. Stella Lockhart, Kayden Clark, Tessa Liggio for instant could have monster seasons. This is based on the summer only and not what kids are did last season. …. feel free to disagree!

* means player has a D1 offer on the table

2025

*CHRISTINA LIGGIO- RBC( Navy))– She is easily the GOAT of the class. Her consistency has been remarkable and development exciting if you’re a Navy fan.

*TESSA CARMAN – RBC ( Monmouth)– She has shown flashes of dominance through the years. She just may put it all together this year.

*HAYLEY POSNER- RANNEY( Lafayette)– by far the most underrated star in the Shore Conference. She is an Elite scoring  machine and underrated defender.

*MACKENZIE TEEVAN – HOLMDEL ( Holy Cross)– she is that rare post player who is a gym rat. Her development has been dynamic. Her future may lie in her development this season

*OLIVIA SHAUGHNESSY- MANASQUAN ( Loyola)– her rise has been expected and she has been off the charts the first two weeks of the fall.

2026

*ADDY NYEMCHECK- RBC– She is one of the best in the entire country and the class GOAT. Her passing skills have no match. She is the Larry Bird of girls basketball. Willing to be coached hard and the ultimate teammate.

*MADISON KOCIS- SJV- She could be the most improved player in New Jersey. She is clearly one of the 5 best in NJ for those paying attention or asking. She is a sponge with a sick appetite to get better always

*TAYLOR SOFILKANICH- SJV– She could have a season that could shake the very foundation in the Shore. She can do it all and she is an athlete at 6’4”.  She has not touched the surface and what she will become, the best post player in recent Shore history.

Katie Liggio (4) of Red Bank Catholic

*KATIE LIGGIO- RBC- They say shooting makes up for a multiple of sins. Nobody does it better and nobody does it better on big stages. The ultimate gym rat!

*JADA LYNCH- St. Rose– She is showing maturity and leadership. She wants to win and appears ready to fulfill all her god given special talents. When she gets rolling she is as dominant as any player in the state.

2027

*ASHLEY KREIGER- RANNEY- She is a culture type kid with big talent. She is a 6’3” athlete, rising star who is very skilled already. She was named THE SHORE CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR

*TATUM SHARPE- SJV– She is coming on like a freight train. The development has been shocking. She is long, athletic and competitive. This is a future 1st Team All Shore player

LISSY LYONS-SJV- She is starting to find her way. Got caught up in the AAU world last summer, slowing her development. But rebounded in the fall and appears to be back on track. She is a future D1 player.

Brooke Janenicke  – RFH- This is an emerging player. More importantly she is doing it on the defensive side of the ball. But she is filled with confidence these days offensively. She was one of the real bright spots this summer and she has moved it all into the fall. This is shaping up to be a great story.

CALLIE DECKER – St. ROSE- Her presence is now being felt in a big way. She is going to get serious minutes this season at St Rose. Her work ethic is special. If she dips her foot into competitive enviorments watch out. That’s because she could starting getting a D1 look about her game.

2028

ARI WISSEN – BRICK– She is the leading candidate for FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR

ALLISON MCANDREW- TRINITY HALL– She is the next great young player at Trinity and will make a run at FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR

TY HOWARD- NEPTUNE- There is no question who the most talented AND ATHLETIC player in the freshman class is this year

KENZIE KLATSKY- MARLBORO- Shecwill be asked to carry Marlboro as a freshman. She is a scoring machine  with a versatile game.

CALISTA VOWTERAS – MANASQUAN– She will eventually be the best two way player in the class. Minutes may be hard to come by in year one.

CASEY ZAMMIT- HOLMDEL – She is a talented crafty player. If she gets in the gym vs competition the sky is the limit
