THE BABY GENIUS has become a big game coach, who teams never quit

Lisa Kukoda  MANSQUAN HIGH SCHOOL- She has here team running like a fine machine. Her team was totally locked in vs. Middletown South. Then her team in a tough hard fought game vs. Luhi never broke, in a double Overtime win.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mabrey is destroying anything in her path

Mabrey is destroying anything in her path

DARA MABREY-MANASQUAN HIGH SCHOOL- She wins the award for a 2nd time in 3 weeks. She has turned in 3 mega performances on the biggest stages this year. Her 31 points vs Luhi was impressive coming off the 21 vs. then #8 Middletown.

We told you see was back...and so is Holmdel

CHRISTINA ANTONAKAKIS  MIDDLETOWN SOUTH– The Magic women is clearly back. She but a Holmdel team that has bounced back nicely on her back with 20 points. But more impressive she did it at crunch time.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

KAROLINA JARUSEVICIUTE will be a household name for recruiters...size and skills

KAROLINA JARUSEVICIUTE will be a household name for recruiters…size and skills

KAROLINA JARUSEVICIUTE-DONAVAN CATHOLIC- The 6’1″ baby had a monster game last week. How does 9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assist  and 3 steals move you. It could not come at a better time for Donovan Catholic. The future Division one stud is going to be in the mix for player of the year as is her teammate Pagie Slaven who had 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assist as well.

TEAM OF THE WEEK-

The name fits them perfectly

There like Roaches you can’t kill them

MANASQUAN HIGH SCHOOL- Two huge wins over Middletown South and Luhi. But this is a true team effort. It seems to be a different ROLE player every night. Galvan is rolling into shape and is becoming a huge factor. Mullaney again comes off the bench with big, big plays.

4. ST ROSE– Drilled Life Academy to end the conversation about weak teams

5. RED BANK CATHOLIC– Mini test and trap game tonight vs Allentown

6. TOMS RIVER NORTH– Not sure what it means, best win Point Boro.

7.PT. BORO HIGH SCHOOL– Hughes and Lassen  have been great. But it’s the freshman Kate Leturgez who has been the missing piece.

8.  RED BANK REGIONAL– James Young and crew believe it’s there year.

9. MIDDLETOWN SOUTH- Nightmarish week, non competitive game vs Manasquan and slip by the Hapless Marlboro by 4

10. NEPTUNE– This team is in real trouble and Dezzy Allen and Brianna Love show no signs of getting better, unless they rest…NOT A GOOD THOUGHT
